Antti Saari has worked with standards in both drafting and editing stages since 2009. He started as an editor at Finnish Standards Association (SFS) in 2009, and worked a while in IT standardisation, before returning to the world of publishing to help SFS migrate from the old FrameMaker-based process to automated XML publishing. Antti is also an active member of CEN’s XML task force and the NISO STS Working Group.
Antti presented the process SFS has adopted for producing multi-lingual publications from STS XML at the Thursday morning Publishing for Standards Professionals workshop at the 2016 Typefi User Conference.
