InDesign has some auto-sizing features, but they’re buried deep in the menus. Our panel puts them right at your fingertips for quick access!
Maximum height & width
InDesign lets you set minimum size and anchor points for your auto-sizing frames, but leaves out crucial maximum height & width limits—we’ve added them with AutoFit.
Create responsive layouts
Use the AutoFit tool to link objects into parent-child relationships, so that resizing or moving the parent automatically affects the child. It even works across different layers and can reach into nested frames!
InDesign scripting
Use AutoFit in automated workflows with InDesign scripts. The plug-in is fully scriptable if you opt for the Pro or Server edition.
Not available with AutoFit Free.
Third-party workflow tools
With the Pro and Server editions, you can integrate AutoFit with third-party workflow tools like DesignMerge and EasyCatalog for additional flexibility.
Not available with AutoFit Free.
InDesign Server support
The Server edition of AutoFit is designed specifically for InDesign Server—ideal for integrating responsive layouts into publishing systems by WoodWing, vjoon, and others.
