In this presentation from the 2024 Europe Virtual User Group, Typefi VP Product + New Markets, Caleb Clauset, discusses some of Typefi’s recent product updates and a few big releases that are coming soon.
First, Caleb discusses some major developments we’ve made behind the scenes this year. As of the Typefi Server 8.14 release, we’ve upgraded Typefi Cloud to Tomcat 10 and Java SE 21. You won’t notice any changes, but this upgrade will ensure the security and stability of our services.
Next, Caleb talks about an update coming soon to Typefi Accounts that will change how you sign-in to Typefi. We’ve integrated with Auth0 to enable seamless sign-on across all Typefi services. Additionally, My Typefi will become the new hub for software distribution. We’re very close to releasing this update so keep an eye on your inbox!
You’ve probably heard us talk about Project Marcoola over the last couple of years—it now has a new name and is weeks away from release! Known as Typefi AssetFlow, this new front-end interface for Typefi Cloud will enable seamless collaboration, incredibly fast file browsing, intuitive search, and a smoother user experience. Caleb also briefly mentions a few other projects, including:
- Fractional Typefi engines: will enable increased capacity during peak volume periods (coming soon).
- DOCX plug-in: it got a total overhaul this year, and it’s more powerful than ever!
- CXML 3.3: we’ve made a few changes to make your life easier.
- AutoFit Pro & Server: two new versions of AutoFit are available now.
