Typefi is an automated publishing engine built on Adobe InDesign. It can automatically compose up to 1000 pages per hour without manual intervention—freeing your design team from tedious typesetting and layout tasks—and it can produce 30+ common output formats like PDF, EPUB, and HTML.
In this half-hour webinar, Typefi VP Product Caleb Clauset demonstrates how Typefi works.
First, he briefly explains what is required to create an InDesign template for use with Typefi.
Next, he uses Typefi to publish a journal article using content from Microsoft Word along with figures, tables, references, and links.
Then, he explains how Typefi works with DITA XML and AEM, a popular Content Management System from Adobe, and shows how you can quickly make changes to your content and design without tedious manual rework of your document.
To wrap up, Caleb takes a few questions from the audience and discusses file management, creating multiple outputs of the same document, and Typefi’s ability to import both Excel sheets and Word documents to create a single output document.
